How to enjoy a free installation of Q9 Chinese Input Programme

Q9 Chinese Input Programme is a Chinese character input method which users do the inputting with the number keys on a numeric keypad.
Departments / Student organizations can enjoy a free installation of Q9 Chinese Input Program in any University’s owned Windows computers.

University-owned Windows OS PCs in departments / student organizations

 

⚠️ Register for a new installation key          登記新的軟件序號 The current (2022-2025) installation key will expire on 31 Jan 2025.  To continue using Q9, please request a new one here, and you will receive the new installation key in early February. 現時（2022-2025 年度）之軟件序號將於 2025 年 1 月 31 日到期。如需繼續使用，請按此的提交表格申請，新軟件序號將會於二月初發出。

 

Access to Service

Please follow the steps below:

1. Obtain the installation key by submit a request using the form here.
   通過使用此處的表格提交請求來獲取軟件序號。
   
   
2. Visit http://www.q9tech.com/web10/productIntro/retailSoftware/q9_1_pc/swdetail.php?pid=98&dtlID=910 and download the software.
   瀏覽 http://www.q9tech.com/web10/productIntro/retailSoftware/q9_1_pc/swdetail.php?pid=98&dtlID=910 並下載該軟件。
   
   
   
3. Run the downloaded software and follow the on-screen instruction to process with installation.
   運行下載了的軟件並按照屏幕上的說明以進行安裝。
   
   
   
4. After the installation completed, run the Q9 Chinese Input Programme.
   安裝完成後，運行Q9中文輸入程序。
   
   
   
5. Click the menu option () on the Q9 Chinese Input Programme.
   按下九方中文輸入程序上的菜單選項 ()。
   
   
   
6. Select 'Registration' from the lower part of the menu.
   從菜單的下部選擇「註冊」。
   
   
   
7. Click 'Agree' to accept the license terms and follow the on-screen instruction to enter the installation key.
   按下「同意」 以接受有關條款並按照屏幕上的說明輸入軟件序號。
   
   
   
8. Finally, enter your CUHK email address (alias@cuhk.edu.hk) and contact information, etc. to complete the registration.
   最後輸入你的中文大學郵箱（alias@cuhk.edu.hk）和其他聯繫方式等就可以完成註冊。
