How to enjoy a free installation of Q9 Chinese Input Programme

Q9 Chinese Input Programme is a Chinese character input method which users do the inputting with the number keys on a numeric keypad.
Departments / Student organizations can enjoy a free installation of Q9 Chinese Input Program in any University’s owned Windows computers.

University-owned Windows OS PCs in departments / student organizations

 

Access to Service

Please follow the steps below:

請按照以下指示：

 

1. Obtain the installation key by submit a request using the form here.
   通過使用此處的表格提交請求來獲取軟件序號。
   
   
   
2. Visit Q9 software download page, select '教育 / 師生家用版' and download the software (W11/W10).
   瀏覽 九方軟件下載頁 ，選擇「教育 / 師生家用版」並下載該軟件(W11/W10)。
   
   
   
3. Run the downloaded software and follow the on-screen instruction to process with installation.
   運行下載了的軟件並按照屏幕上的說明以進行安裝。
   
   
   
4. After the installation completed, run the Q9 Chinese Input Programme.
   安裝完成後，運行Q9中文輸入程序。
   
   
   
5. Click the menu option ( or ) on the Q9 Chinese Input Programme.
   按下九方中文輸入程序上的菜單選項 ( or )。
   
   
   
6. Select 'Registration' from the lower part of the menu.
   從菜單的下部選擇「註冊」。
   
   
   
7. Click 'Agree' to accept the license terms and follow the on-screen instruction to enter the installation key.
   按下「同意」 以接受有關條款並按照屏幕上的說明輸入軟件序號。
   
   
   
8. Finally, enter your CUHK email address (alias@cuhk.edu.hk) and contact information, etc. to complete the registration.
   最後輸入你的中文大學郵箱（alias@cuhk.edu.hk）和其他聯繫方式等就可以完成註冊。
