Change my address in CUSIS but find 'Error 403 forbidden' when using Mac (MacOS, iOS)

Solution

This is typically for students using CUSIS on Mac devices(MacOS, iOS) because DUO 2FA is required for some features in CUSIS. 

Please try steps below if you encountered error 403 forbidden in CUSIS:

 

A) Please change the following setting if you are using MacOS and Safari.

  1. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Settings, then click Privacy.
    2. Disable “Prevent cross-site tracking”
    3. Update your address in CUSIS
    4. Enable “Prevent cross-site tracking” again

B) Please change the following setting if you are using mobile device (iOS).

Safari

  1. Go to Settings > Safari
    2. Disable “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking”
    3. Update your address in CUSIS
    4. Enable “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking” again

Chrome

  1. Go to Settings > Chrome
    2. Enable “Allow Cross-Website Tracking”
    3. Update your address in CUSIS
    4. Disable “Allow Cross- Website Tracking” again
