Forwarding University Email to Your Personal Email

Students, Staff, Alumni (Opted-in @Link for Alumni) and Other Accounts with Microsoft services

 

Notes

Copies of messages that you forward by inbox rules will remain in your mailbox. Meanwhile, the forwarded messages will have the sender as you and the original sender will be quoted in the forwarded message content.

 

Advanced email features (such as Microsoft Information Protection) may not be available in the forwarded emails.

 

Solution

 

Scenario 1: Use Forwarding setting to forward University email to your personal (single) email address.

 

  1. Sign in CUHK Office 365.
        登入 CUHK Office 365

  2. After successful sign in, click app launcher on the top left hand corner.
        完成登入後,點選頁面左上角的應用程式啟動器 





  3. Click Outlook.  This will open Outlook on the web.
        點選 Outlook。這樣會打開 Outlook 網頁版。



  4.  In Outlook on the web, click Settings on the top right hand corner, then click View all Outlook settings.
        在 Outlook 網頁版的右上角,點選設定,之後點選檢視所有 Outlook 設定





  5.  Click Mail > Forwarding.
         點選郵件轉寄



  6.  Check Enable forwarding, then input your personal email address.
        勾選啟用轉寄,之後輸入你的個人電郵地址


  7.  Finally, click Save to confirm the change.  Done.
        最後,點選儲存完成設定。

 

 

Scenario 2: Use inbox rule to forward University email to multiple email addresses. 

 

  1. Sign in CUHK Office 365.
        登入 CUHK Office 365


  2. After successful sign in, click app launcher Office365_servicepane_icon.png on the top left hand corner.
        完成登入後,點選頁面左上角的應用程式啟動器 Office365_servicepane_icon.png





  3. Click Outlook.  This will open Outlook on the web.
        點選 Outlook。這樣會打開 Outlook 網頁版。



  4.  In Outlook on the web, click Settings on the top right hand corner, then click View all Outlook settings.
        在 Outlook 網頁版的右上角,點選設定,之後點選檢視所有 Outlook 設定





  5.  Click Mail > Rules.
         點選郵件 > 規則



  6. At the right hand side, click Add new rule. Then input your rule name, choose the condition rule is Apply to all messages. Choose the action is Forward to email. Then input and choose the receiver email address(es). 
        在右側,點選新增規則, 輸入您的規則名稱,選擇新增條件套用到所有郵件,選擇新增動作轉寄至。然後輸入並選擇收件人的電郵地址



  7. Finally, click Save to confirm the change.  Done.
        最後,點選儲存完成設定。
